Jacqueline Bisset leads this tremendous meta blog post for science. Where you will find all kinds of outrageous, sexy and nerdy stuff.
"My view is quite simple. When your dog pees on the carpet, you do not give away your dog. You say, This dog is special. I have to teach him not to pee on the carpet. I feel exactly the same way about men. They need to be taught things." - Jacqueline Bisset
"I think it's actually mind-blowing, what's going on, just generally, but I think the world's gone nuts. I'm not very proud of the way things are. I don't feel very proud of America, the way things are, just the complete lack of discipline. I think it makes America look really cheap, the mixture of all these young women just showing everything and behaving like wild things." - Jacqueline Bisset
"With all the world politics, it just seems to me, I know I sound judgmental, but I suppose I am judgmental about it, really. If people don't behave, things kind of snowball on each other, and you just take in a larger thing, or across the world there's a lot of countries looking at America who have lost respect, so I just think that's really sad, cause it's a great country" - Jacqueline Bisset

"I've probably understood men too well. I realize they are predatory by nature, and I have a certain acceptance of the male animal." - Jacqueline Bisset

NASA's Kepler Space Telescope Catches Flash Of Exploding Star For The First Time
A supernova shockwave has been observed in the optical wavelength or visible light as it reaches the surface of the star. This early flash of light is called a shock breakout. The explosive death of this star, called KSN 2011d, as it reaches its maximum brightness takes 14 days. The shock breakout itself lasts only about 20 minutes, so catching the flash of energy is an investigative milestone for astronomers.
The distant dwarf planet that Dawn is circling is full of mystery and yet growing ever more familiar. Ceres, which only last year was hardly more than a fuzzy blob against the stars, is now a richly detailed world, and our portrait grows more elaborate every day.
Caitlyn Jenner will appear on a summer cover of Sports Illustrated wearing “nothing but an American flag and her Olympic medal,” a source reveals in the latest issue of Us Weekly.

Fun and Flirty Images from the Merging of Soviet Social Posters with American Pin-Up Art
Known for his unique style, Valery Barykin’s prints contrast the aesthetic of the beloved American Pin-Up culture and its heightened sexuality with the sharp-edged and saturated colors of Soviet Russia’s propaganda posters. His upbringing was surrounded by socialist advertisements and mass produced American pin-up photographs that slowly made their way into Russia after the fall of the Soviet Union.
