His Majesty King of Thailand has crossed the rainbow bridge

"...dogs from the street can have all the desirable qualities that one could want from pet dogs. Most adopted stray dogs are usually humble and exceptionally faithful to their owners as if they are grateful for this kindness. Moreover, they are not inferior to imported dogs in terms of intelligence. Some are attractive or have a distinctive smart look like ThongdaengHis Majesty, King Bhumibol Adulyadej


Over the years, it has been a tradition for His Majesty the King of Thailand to send “homemade” New Years greetings cards to his loyal subjects. The first one of this kind was released in December 2005. There has been one every year since. Each card portrays His Majesty with one or more of his favourite dogs. The card for New Year 2012 features His Majesty the King in casual dress flanked by his favourite royal pet dogs, Khun Thongdaeng
