Because of the space time continuum...  This immeasurable meta blog post uses GOODSTUFFs Time Machine™ to probe Suzanne Somers with (out of this world) science.

In 1970, Suzanne Somers auditioned for Playboy's Playmate of the Month and got as far as a test series of photos taken in the Mexican jungle. She was fully nude except for a gold chain around her waist. Playboy decided not to use her at the time, but paid her $3,000 for the test. After Suzanne Somers became a star on Three's Company (1976), Playboy published the entire series of photos and the handwritten Data Sheet that each potential Playmate fills out. At the time of its publication, she was a popular (and for her, lucrative) spokeswoman in a series of TV commercials for Ace Hardware. Following the publication of the pictures, Ace abruptly fired her, citing the contract's morals clause.

The Brockhaus and Efron Encyclopedic Dictionary was published in Russia from 1890 to 1907. The 86-volume deep encyclopedia features 7,800 pictures, 121,240 articles and 235 maps.

Saturn's moon Titan is the only other body in the Solar System besides Earth known to have liquids on its surface. In Titan's case, they are rivers, lakes and seas of liquid hydrocarbons (methane/ethane) instead of water. There is even methane/ethane rain, which further mimics Earth's hydrological cycle. For the most part, the lakes and seas are fairly smooth, with only small amounts of wave activity. But now, new research suggests that those lakes and seas might be quite fizzy at times - with periodic bursts of nitrogen bubbles.

Saturn's largest moon, Titan, where the sands are "electrically charged." When the wind blows hard enough (approximately 15 mph), Titan's non-silicate granules get kicked up and start to hop in a motion referred to as saltation. As they collide, they become frictionally charged, like a balloon rubbing against your hair, and clump together in a way not observed for sand dune grains on Earth -- they become resistant to further motion. They maintain that charge for days or months at a time and attach to other hydrocarbon substances, much like packing peanuts used in shipping boxes here on Earth.

Juno just flew past Jupiter for the fifth time. What have we learned from the mission so far?

The robotic X-37B space plane has now entered its 678th day in orbit, breaking its own record for the number of consecutive days spent in space, and the government remains tight-lipped on when it might be brought back down to Earth.

Batman had convenient labels on absolutely everything when he was on television between 1966 and 1968. Even Batman's arch enemies were super meticulous about indicating where the secret trap doors were or what kind of stupidly-named instrument they were using to destroy the bat hero in a grey onesie.
