PSA Exorcise Your Demonic Pussy Cat Photos

Public Service Announcement:
How to exorcise the demonic glow in your pussy cat photos

Pussy cats are generally cute and cuddly and full of fun. However, there is another side of pussy cats; which is exposed when a flash photo is taken...

In many animals, including pussy cats, the retina has a special reflective layer called the tapetum lucidum that acts almost like a mirror at the backs of their eyes. If you shine a flashlight or headlights into their eyes at night, their eyes shine back with bright, white light.

Humans don’t have this tapetum lucidum layer in their retinas. If you shine a flashlight in a person’s eyes at night, you don’t see any sort of reflection. The flash on a camera is bright enough, however, to cause a reflection off of the retina — what you see is the red color from the blood vessels nourishing the eye.

Many cameras have a red eye reduction feature. In these cameras, the flash goes off twice — once right before the picture is taken, and then again to actually take the picture. The first flash expels the demonic glow, reducing red eye significantly. Another trick is to turn on all the lights in the room, which also banish the demonic glow

Discretion is the better part of valor!

A good indication that a Feral Cat is around is a hissing sound. This hissing sound is an automatic reaction a human or love is around. If you hear this sound, stop moving, turn around slowly and proceed in the direction opposite to that the noise is coming from. Avoid looking in to the feral cat's eyes as this can almost certainly cause Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

Feral Pussy Cat Syndrome (FPCS) is the overwhelming feeling of compassion for a pussy cat. This euphoric feeling usually occurs in people who are already slightly brain damaged to begin with. Though the level of effect may vary, some people will actually try to take the feral pussy cat with them in to their home. If this occurs, it is only a matter of time before the brain damage becomes more severe and in some cases, these affected individuals will go looking for more feral pussy cats as if it is some type of addictive drug.
